Two words to describe Erik Hassle - Infectious Pop. Born and raised in Sweden, this twenty year-old has some serious talent. His soulful voice seems to come out with such ease, and when he's not melting hearts with his lyrics, he puts out some pretty solid covers of artists like Sam Cooke, Peter Gabriel, Bob Marley, and Metallica - random to say the least. Pieces, his international debut, would even make ABBA proud with its catchy hooks. Check out the videos below. You can thank me later...

Piano, bass and drums...that's all that the Crash Kings need, and you know what, it works. Their self-titled debut album has a little bit of everything: hard-hitting rock like "You Got Me" and "Mountain Man" to catchy pop on "My Love" to "It's Only Wednesday" which seems to be taken out of the pages of The Hush Sound. In a time of one hit wonders, this band is so refreshingly unique. I think the album's producer, Dave Sardy, said it best: "The Crash Kings are the missing link between Queen and Rage Against the Machine". Enough said.

Be sure to check out their video: "Evolution of Guitar Rock - With No Guitars"

Alpha Rev

The loose translation of Alpha Rev is "the beginning of something new". Simplicity is simply not in Alpha Rev's dictionary. Consisting of seven members (including a violin and cello), this Austin, TX band has been making some noise with their new album "New Morning", and was recently featured on VH1's You Oughta Know for up-and-coming artists. Lead vocalist, Casey McPherson, is part rock and roll, part pop, and pure emotion. While their sound is nothing new (think of a mix between Coldplay and Guster), when they come together, something clicks. Following their first single "New Morning", Alpha Rev will soon be pushing out their follow-up single, "Phoenix Burn" which is sure to please anyone. Do yourself a favor and buy the CD. All you'll have to do is press play, sit back, and relax. Trust me, this will be the beginning of something new.

Mumford & Sons

Mumford & Sons encompasses all that is right in music today. Stemming from London, England, this band has so much going for them. The band's debut album, Sigh No More, has made its way to #8 on NPR's All Songs Considered "Listeners Pick 2010’s Best Music (So Far)" list. There's something incredible about their sound – it is utterly simplistic yet catchy – starting with frontman Marcus Mumford (comparable to King of Leon's Caleb Followill) and progressing into an all-out band harmony. I don't know how they do it, but their sound is inspiring, to say the least. You can tell that they put their hearts into their performances and their blend of folk, rock, and country is timeless. I honestly can't pick any standouts, you’re just going to have to listen to Sigh No More in its entirety, and this is one hour you'll be glad to give up.

Featured on the latest round of Ten Out of Tenn, Andrew Belle hails from...Illinois. Even though he's a newcomer to the Nashville scene, he seems to fit right in. Personally, Andrew Belle really stuck out on the latest round of artists. He has one of those voices that seem to draw you in wanting more. Even if you don't know the name, you may have heard his music before; it's been featured on a number of shows, including Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, and The Real World. Interestingly enough, he was named "Best Breakout Artist, Chicago" in 2009 by MTV. His latest release, The Ladder is one of those CD's that is great for a long solo drive. Stand out tracks include "My Oldest Friend" and his newest single "Static Waves" featuring fellow TOT artist Katie Herzig. Be sure to check out the rest of the Ten Out of Tenn lineup (http://www.10outoftenn.com).

You can buy "The Ladder" here. Need more incentive? It's only $5.99!

Young British band...with great hooks and powerpop/punk sensibilities. All of the things musically that are going on with this song are completely infectious. Plus, the drummer is ridiculously awesome.

What do you think? Do you like it?

You can buy the album or song here at a reasonably priced $7.99.

So, this one may be a little outside of the box...as it's kind of country/bluegrassy pop music. Reminds me some of Nickel Creek, Alison Kraus and past FirstListen arist the Duhks. I think this might have a little more pop to it though. I think this song is very good. Great vocals, lots of conviction, cool video...I just think this song is cool. What do you think?

"Your Sweet Boom"

"Compass"
