WELCOME ABOARD!

Postby Richard Young » Sun Oct 25, 2009 11:26 pm

The new FirstListen. It's finally here. Can't wait to get your thoughts. It's been a LONG LONG time coming.

I will be adding some thoughts and information here very soon about the whole process for you (if you are interested).

I just had thought about this site the other day, after visiting MSM again since John's albums coming out very soon. I remember I got really busy with school and work and didn't have enough time to participate anymore, so this re-launch is really great timing, since I have the time to spare again. I am definitely excited for the new changes. Great work RY & team.

I'm excited to see what's coming :) I miss having exposure to new music since I don't have Sirius anymore and haven't had FL around!
and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

This was a crazy blessing...I had let my membership lapse in '07...JUST last Thursday I was listening to my copy of Ray LaMontague that was sent to me by FL back in '04 or '05 and I was wishing I could reinstate my membership. Just today I got the email from FL asking if I wanted back in! I can't believe the timing! I'm pumped! Thanks FL and I admire your dedication and your dynamic selection. I still am amazed when I hear some of the music chosen by FL on the radio, I tell my friends I first heard this years ago! Look forward to a new chapter with FL...

My only question/concern....Can other members view my personal contact information (i.e. address, full name, birthday???)

Absolutely not. Address/Name...anything personally indentifiable to you can not be seen by others. I think the birthday is possibly something others can see, but that is something you can control by clicking on "user control panel" and you can edit what members can/can't see.

I really like this new format. It is much easier to navigate. It is also quite clean. The use of different shades of maroon and the white writing keep it looking coordinated and organized. Now if I could only remember my password for more than one login...
