We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the FirstListen family, Fyfe Dangerfield. Fyfe is from the UK and is the lead singer of a really good band called the Guillemots. For some unknown reason, the Guillemots music hasn't really taken off in the US, but Fyfe is marching forward and putting out his record here anyway and we're excited about that! There has already been great press out there about the album and Fyfe will be touring soon to support it. Check out his sites and/or sign up for his mailing list to keep up to date on that!

The Fyfe Dangerfield album (Fly Yellow Moon) is available to download/stream until 4.15.10. This is a required downloadable project that requires completion of a survey/review. You can download the album here and you can take the survey here.

So, our latest project is Locksley! Locksley was born out of Madison, WI a few years back and they've managed to garner quite a bit of attention via the DIY model. MTV has shown them quite a bit of love as has Rolling Stone and other publications. They've been on the road with The Hives, Rooney and even as Ray Davies' backup band. I think if you like the band Jet or the Hives, you'll like Locksley. I think that's the fairest comparison... but they've got more of a pop angle to their music than those 2 bands do in my opinion. Check them out and see what you think for yourself.

The Locksley album (Be In Love) is available to download/stream until 3/31. This is a required downloadable project that requires completion of a survey/review. You can download the album here and you can take the survey here.
